GIS Analysis

Paragraph 1:

Where are they? I created new boundaries by  merging two countries and by splitting a country up. The country that I split up is United States which is located in North America. I split the United States into two pieces. It's split up by on part being in the West and on part in the East. The United States is now two new countries, East and West instead of being one whole country all together. The two countries that I merged were Canada and the United States. This new country is located in North America.

Paragraph 2:

WHY are they there? The two countries within United States are now there for many reasons. The new countries in the former United States will take away many problems that the United States had before. There won't be as much fighting and the government systems would be way better.  There was too much difference in the different sides of the United States and now that there apart, the two new countries will run better than before when they were together. There's also many reasons why Canada and United States should be merged. First of all, the economy would be better and larger than before. By merging them there will be more job opportunities and there will be more resources available. If the two countries merge and the United States splits into two, there will be a huge outcome that will be good for the countries.

Paragraph 3:

Why are they THERE? The new boundaries in the United States are there because if the United States split in half, that is where they would divide into two new countries. West and East have the most conflict and that is why the new boundaries split the United States into two (West and East).  The Canada and United States is there because the two countries merged into one.

Paragraph 4:

What difference will it make? By splitting up the United States into two new countries, there won't be as much fighting between states in the new countries. It will have a big impact on each individual state. By splitting up United States its making a difference in good and bad ways. By merging Canada and United States into one country, this new county will be almost perfect and it would be very good for the two countries. It will have a big difference from before, but it would be a better difference. If the two countries merge their economy would be way better than it was before.

Paragraph 1-

I'm observing what places have the most percentage of  females populated in the United States. There is a high percentage of  females located in the south of the U.S. In the Midwest  it is in between lots of females and few females. In the mountain states and a little part of the Midwest there is a low percentage of females there. In the south there is a cluster of females in the states Alabama, Mississippi, and Arkansas.

Paragraph 2-

Why are some regions more populated with females then in the other ones? Each region is different from their culture to who lives there and many other factors. In the Midwest where there is about 49-51% of females living there the living conditions aren't great but they are stable. Women are able to get jobs and work and females aren't treated differently then men. Females have rights here and they are able to go to school and get an education too. In the mountain states where there is a low percentage of females, there is probably not the best living conditions. Females might not have a good chance at getting an education. The South were most of the female percentage is clustered is because of many reasons. Many people are clustered there because its a better living environment there, jobs for women, good education, women have rights, and better location.

Paragraph 3-

What difference does it make if some places have high female percentages and other have low? It could affect people if they are all clustered in on place, which is happening in the south. It could affect the United States because females aren't evenly distributed across the country. If there is too many people in one region then that region could run out of or not have enough of  resources or food. Also if there is a region with a low percentage of females then that can be a problem cause that regions population might never grow. It would be better if females were evenly distributed across the United States.
